Seen here during the 2023 fall grape harvest, this is the Jennings family Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard called Paratus, meaning “ready” in Latin. We’ll be “paratus” for you to join us for Susannah and Jack’s wedding ceremony, taking place right below it, in October!

WHERE TO STAY

Yountville, a 15-minute drive north of Napa, is a good town to stay in for Susannah and Jack’s wedding, as it’s where the welcome party (see WELCOME PARTY tab) takes place the evening before the wedding and where transportation to the wedding itself (see SHUTTLE tab) leaves from and returns to. If you would prefer to stay in another town nearby, no problem.

HOW TO GET THERE

Wouldn’t it be fun to travel to the wedding in a hot air balloon? While you may certainly hop in one once you’ve arrived here NAPAVALLEYBALLOONS, fortunately there are four nearby airports you may use instead, including San Francisco International (SFO), Oakland International (OAK) and Sacramento International (SMF) and Charles M Schulz Sonoma County (STS), all located within an hour and an hour-and-a-half drive from Yountville, depending on traffic.

WINE COUNTRY AIRPORTER offers scheduled daily roundtrip service to and from SFO for $69 per person. NAPA AIRPORTER is a reservation-based, 24-7 shuttle service serving SFO, OAK and SMF. Contact them for rates.

WHAT TO DO

Some of our favorite things to do in the area include, of course, wine tasting, DUH, and also cycling the Vine Trail crisscrossing the Napa Valley, mountain biking and hiking in Skyline or Alston parks in Napa, playing on the public golf course in Yountville, and kayaking the Napa River. The following links, detailing activities in the Napa Valley and Yountville, will help you dial into what’s going on in Wine Country in October:

For free transportation anywhere within Yountville, call 707-312-1509 to have the Bee Line shuttle come and get you.

For the cyclists in the group, we recommend this Yountville bike rental place. Use code SANDJWED between October 22-29 for a 10 percent discount:
